Web Design

Jake Epstein Fansite December 2007 - Present
I designed and run a fansite for actor and musician Jake Epstein. I have run various other websites of my own in the past, but this one I am the most proud of because it is my longest running site and gets a fair amount of daily visitors.
Oshawa Velodrome Project 2009
An assignment for Interface Design I in the Web Development program at Durham College. The main web page for the Oshawa Velodrom Project.
The Shakedowns - MySpace The Shakedowns MySpace Page Summer 2009
I was asked to create a layout for the MySpace page of a band called The Shakedowns. Previously, three of the members of The Shakedowns were in a band called Backseat Edikit. I created and ran a website for Backseat Edikit before they moved on to become The Shakedowns.
  SoulFuel 2007-2008
I created and maintained the website, first using Flash and later changing to HTML, for the youth group of Taber Evangelical Free Church in Taber, Alberta. This involved frequent updates as well as being in charge of multimedia content relating to the site: taking pictures at events, creating stickers to advertise the website, etc.
  Backseat Edikit 2006-2008
I was asked to create a website for a band who I went to high school with, Backseat Edikit, from Sexsmith, Alberta. The site was in existence for quite sometime but was never fully up to date because the band had gone on a semi-hiatus for a while. They later made some changes, adding a member and changing their name. Therefore the site was closed.
  Peace Windows 2005
I created a small web page for Peace Windows, in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The site has since been redone, but this was my first experience creating a webpage for someone other than myself.

I have also, in the past created numerous websites for subjects of personal interest. I started creating websites in Junior High where I learned basic HTML in a computer programming class. My knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL was self-taught since learning HTML, but my knowledge has since been expanded by classes taken in college.
